Netflix’s latest challenge to streamteamers is to have the kids write a post, to mark Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day. I’m pretty busy watching House of Cards so I’m OK with that.
Since it’s a competition all the kids wanted in on the action.
The younger two did videos but I’m not very good at editing them so here’s a very raw, real, unedited one of Laoise (aged 2.5) lying under the Netflix blanket on the ground, playing a harmonica and fighting off her five-year-old brother Cathal. Also, I should point out that I was wrong on and the small girl is right, Ben & Holly is on Netflix, sorry Laoise for correcting you. And if I could have edited the final remarks here I totally would have!!
Ciarán (7) wanted a go too- Here’s his entry.
Why I love Netflix (and my mam of course)
I’m Ciarán and I’m seven. You might have seen me on here before but this is the first time I’ve gotten to write something myself. It’s for a competition for Netflix.
I love Netflix because I can watch the programmes whenever I want. I even set up my own profile by customising a picture and I named my profile Ciaran because I was fed up of my younger sister and brother’s programmes showing up when I went on Netflix on the TV. They like to watch stuff like Peppa Pig, Puffin Rock and Bubble Guppies. One time I let my sister watch Puffin Rock in my profile and it showed up on my “Recently Watched” and I didn’t like that at all.
Some of my favourite programmes include Pac-man and his ghostly adventures, Dinotrux, Lego Ninjago Masters of Spinjitsu and Sonic Underground.
To enter the competition I also have to tell you why I love my mam. I don’t really want to do that but anyway here it is.
My mam is cool as she gets me stuff I want sometimes. She’s a really good baker. She brings me really cool places like Glendalough and lets me have play dates with my friends. And she lets me watch Netflix a lot of the time. (And she typed this up for me).
The End
Disclosure: I am a member of the Netflix Stream Team and received a Netflix subscription and an Apple TV in return for posting Netflix updates and reviews, however, all opinions are my own, and I already had a personal subscription before joining the Stream Team.
