Our Netflix Plans for the Longer Nights In

September is always a crazy busy month and October this year seems to have gone by in a flash, but now as the month ends and the nights get longer it’s time to get cosy on the sofa and to catch up on some Netflix I’ve been missing out on.(Has anyone seen the teeny tiny remote?)

I always like to have a short, light series  on the go, the current one is the classic comedy Black Books and I’ve caught a few episodes of US comedy Portlandia and enjoyed it.

narcos

Here’s the trailer of the new Netflix original series, Narcos. All ten episodes are available for streaming now, check out the trailer here:

I hadn’t realised that one of my favourite ever binge-watched programmes is on Netflix so I’m starting it from the beginning again.

House

We got absolutely addicted to House when it came out first, it’s a great series and Hugh Lawrie is fantastic in the title role. It’s a series of medical mysteries with Lawrie playing Dr Gregory House. He’s ably assisted by a variety of junior doctors and supported by his long suffering friend Wilson. House himself is a cranky medical genius with a pain medication addiction, and it’s his personal story and the way Lawrie portrays it that gives depth and sets this apart from all the other medical dramas. It’s compulsive. (and it’s never lupus).

What are you watching? And what will I watch next?
