Yubo Lunchbox Review and Giveaway from Zazzle

With Back to School almost upon us Zazzle UK let us personalise a yubo lunchbox on their site to review

Since Cathal is starting school I thought it would be nice for him to try, but I let the personalisation be a surprise as I didn’t want to rub his sibling’s noses in it too much.

I chose a blue colour theme and a personalised faceplate with his name on it. He was over the moon when his lunchbox arrived, (and not just because there wasn’t one for the others).  I chose a design with what he called a “superhero picture” with his name on it for the faceplate of the box.

The lunchbox can be ordered in six colours all of which are BPA-free, phthalate-free, and lead-free. It’s 100% dishwasher safe once you remove the cardboard faceplates.

The lunchbox itself is very sturdy, the lid lifts right off to reveal a sandwich box and two small containers (one for grapes and one for snacks I’m told) and a nifty ice-pack.

The faceplate is only made from cardboard so I would be concerned at how long it will last, but the lunchbox is very much usable without it and you can order replacement faceplates.

Cathal absolutely loves it, and while I probably wouldn’t have spent €32 on a lunchbox for my not-yet-five-year-old I do think that the product itself is very well designed and put together. It’s nifty, and Cathal is proud as punch to carry it.
