Back to School Review and Giveaway: Bright Star Kids Labels School Kits

I know it feels like the school holidays only started but it’s time to get the booklists out and get organised for the return already.

My second boy is starting school this year so we are getting him all set. One of the tasks I despise most about the back to school prep is the labelling, everything needs a name label. Coats, uniforms, lunchboxes, all the pens.

So, before I even got around to thinking about it I received an email from Bright Star Kids offering me some of their products to review. A quick browse of their site confirmed that I wanted pretty much everything on it but unselfish as I am I asked if they’d like to share some of their back to school kit with you lovely Bumbles of Rice readers, and happily they did, so keep reading to see what you can win.

Here’s the lowdown on Bright Star Kids:

Bright Star Kids was established nearly 10 years ago when Susan Cooper came to Australia from Ireland to do her Masters in Graphic Design. As part of her course she needed to work with a business and as she was new to Australia, she decided to set-up a pretend business with her partner instead. Hey presto, Bright Star Kids was born. From the start Bright Star Kids has sold and shipped a cute range of kids name labels and wall stickers to countries all over the world, and we’ve always been very keen to branch out to Ireland as we’ve got such a strong connection. We’re very excited to have a dedicated Irish website to make it easy to buy in Euros.
We are most famous for our high quality and affordable Name Labels that have helped thousands of belongings to find their way back home!”

With my credit I was sensible got labels for both my boys for school. (As I look on the site again while I write this post I am cursing my sensibleness, there are so many cute things I could have ordered).

The labels are customisable so you can choose colour, font and the picture on the side. We chose a happy face for Cathal and a cool surfer dude for Ciarán.

I got a school value pack for Cathal (see pic above).

This currently retails at €31.95 and contains wait for it – over 190 labels! It has 30 iron on labels for clothes; 10 large and 30 small labels for books/lunchboxes etc; 10 labels for books/copies that include subject; 16 round labels (with 16 clear covers that work for shoes; 80 tiny pencil labels (for all those twistables). You can choose what colour the labels are, select the font the text is printed in and the icon on the end. Some sizes can have two lines  of text if you wish. They’re very good quality and seem good and durable. And they look cool which is much more important if you are in Junior Infants.

Bright Star Kids also carry the adorable Skip Hop bag range including lunch bags and nappy bags and they do personalised clothing like these very cute birthday tshirts and very funky wall decals that are much different to the normal ones (monochrome crosses, raindrops and swallows all feature) Check out the site for more info HERE.

And keep reading to win some of their products.
