A few weekends ago I was at the Irish Parenting Blog Awards do, a fabulously glamorous and stupendously well organised event run by the good people at IPB.
Despite missing some of my lovely sister-in-law-to-be’s hen to attend the awards ceremony and not winning any of the four awards I’d made the finals in, I had a great time. (Swear I’m not bitter, I wuzn’t robbed, the competition was just too strong).These Parenting Bloggers are a sociable bunch and I’d chats about all kinds with bloggers from all over.
My highlight of the night was the Netflix sponsored quiz (no, really, I’m super competitive) which let me and my team mates Kate Takes 5 and Jill from Properfud show our knowledge of Irish Parenting Blogs and we won a Netflix subscription each. (Don’t ask about our version of the Kimmy Schmidt theme tune that we did to ensure victory).
Since I’m in a good mood and want to spread it around I’ve decided to offer the ONE YEAR NETFLIX SUBSCRIPTION to one lucky reader.

I would like to win because I’m not on Facebook so am blatantly discriminated against, as well as having 4000 less friends than the average person so I need to gorge on some top quality tv to help me get ahead in the conversational stake. Plus I have an excellent taste in TV accompanied snacks and unsolicited couched-based commentary. And so I’ll have to like you from afar.

As a lawyer I can’t change the published terms and conditions (poor drafting on my part didn’t include an amendment clause). It also means I’m always cautious when people claim discrimination:) you make a fair point though.
I would so love to win the Netflix subscription. I am facing into my final exams of my degree which fall right around my birthday (May 12th) and I think binge watching some amazing shows would be the perfect way to relax and unwind for a bit after making it through 4 years of college with a baby in tow! 🙂

I would love this to get me through the hours of breastfeeding day & night as there is never anything on TV despite having 100’s of channels! As much as I love starring at my newborn during feeds, the novelty of that will soon wear off and boredom sets in!

Because I live in the countryside, I can only get Sky TV, so there’s no competition to drive the prices down!
